This homeowner wanted to remodel part of the home to meet her love for style and fashion as well as her work life. In order to accommodate, Luminesio design team added an array of practical aspects and details to a home that previously did not have the same sense of ease and comfort.

 

A large walk-in zero-threshold shower with grab bars was designed so the homeowner can use it safely for the years to come. The built-in bench with a warmer has a hand-shower located next to it for easy use when in a seated position. Light-colored limestone tile look in large format cover the floor and walls. The accent tile with the wavy pattern behind the vanity and shower accent walls makes you think of the warm beach sand. Continuing the connection with nature, a Lumicor resin panel with real tall dried grass was introduced as a privacy wall between the toilet and showering area. Dark Takase Teak textured cabinets add contrast with the beach sand like tile.

 

The latest technology is displayed in the Electric Mirror cabinets by featuring USB and outlet built-in into the cabinet for the convenience of plugging in small appliances such as electric toothbrushes, phone, and curling iron. The full mirror cabinet is deep enough to store rolled towels, travel toiletries, and makeup products.

 

Operable metal chains curtain separates the custom walk-in-closet and bathroom without closing the space up with solid walls. The multipurpose bench with drawers at the bottom located in the middle of the closet is also perfect for seating to put shoes on. The carefully designed tall hangs with tall cabinets and drawers framed on both sides of the walk-in closet create an attractive focal point for the space.
